The Global Luxury Summit is the first-ever conference sponsored by Georgetown University that focuses solely on luxury and retail. It is a unique networking and recruiting opportunity that connects both Georgetown students and alumni with leaders in the retail and luxury industries. The summit will be held at the Time Warner Center in New York City on January 29, 2015.

The event will begin with a conversation on "Building a Global Luxury Brand" featuring:

  • Domenico de Sole, Chairman of Tom Ford International
  • Fabrizio Freda, CEO of Estée Lauder Companies
  • John Idol, CEO of Michael Kors
  • Kara Ross, CEO of Kara Ross New York
  • Ermenegildo Zegna, CEO of Ermenegildo Zegna Group

The panel will be followed by a networking session with Georgetown alumni and recruiters from a number of luxury retail companies. Food and drinks will be served.

TRANSPORTATION

Roundtrip transportation for the event is available for purchase for students for $35. A private bus will leave to the Time Warner Center in New York City from the Georgetown University Main Gates at approximately 11 A.M. on the day of the event.
